Health Camps

NTR Memorial Trust strives towards enhancing access to quality and affordable healthcare for the under privileged sections of the Society.

Our Goals:

  • Conducting free Medical Camps by identifying vulnerable and inaccessible areas of targeted population
  • One Mega Health Camp in every quarter
  • Awareness Camps on Health & Sanitation

According to the statistics, rural people continue to be poor and suffer from adverse health conditions due to the following two reasons

  • Lack of awareness on health
  • Lack of affordability

We provide free basic health care services in both Telugu speaking States of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. We have developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to conduct Medical Camps, to create awareness on health and provide proper consultations, referring to the hospitals and distribution of free medicines to the needy.

Our Medical Camps provide diagnostic and consultation services focusing on chronic diseases like Cancer, Diabetes, Arthritis, Kidney diseases, Asthma, Hypertension and etc. Professionally qualified Doctors and Nurses cater to the primary medical care to the needy. Regular awareness camps on Anemia, Diabetes, Dengue, Diarrhea etc. are held in rural and inaccessible areas.

NTR Memorial Trust also conducts regular specialized Camps like EYE, DENTAL and CANCER screening in association with Specialist Doctors and refer people to appropriate hospitals for further treatment if necessary.

          What do I need to organize a Medical Camp in my village?

          If you need to Sponsor a Medical Camp, Arrange required logistics like Tables, Chairs, and tents. Accommodate a free place where needy people can gather.

          What are the facilities I need to provide?

          Arrange Breakfast, Lunch, and Water for the Doctors, Para-Medical staff …etc.

          What will you do at a Medical camp?

          NTR Memorial Trust organizes Medical Camps with an objective to provide FREE Medical Examinations for the needy in both the Telugu states. We provide Diabetic screening, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopaedic, Cardiology, Dental, and Gynaecology apart from General checkups and Medicines distributed for FREE of cost. Our technicians will performs required tests to the needy on basis of doctors advice. Patient data will be captured.

          Who will participate in the Camps from NTR Memorial Trust?

          Experienced Doctors (MD, MBBS, B. Pharmacy, BDS…. etc..), Paramedical staff to conduct diagnosis and Pharmaceutical person to distribute Medicines.

          Which Doctors participates in this program?

          NTR Memorial Trust has partnered with multi-specialty hospitals in most of the areas. NTR Memorial Trust is having a huge networking with the Doctors, RMPs. These doctors with specialization will participate and treat the needy.

          What is the process to conduct a Medical camp?

          NTR Trust has developed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for conducting Medical camps in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. It is being tested in a few places of both states. These Medical Camps created a good impact on the awareness of diseases and distribution of free medicines for immediate relief of the poor and needy people. The salient
          Features of SOP are:
          It provides reasonable care to the patients at Medical Camps which are organized by a trained coordinator for smooth operation of the camp, experienced doctors, medical students, and paramedics to dispense medicines, technicians for testing the urine and blood samples.
          Publicity should be done at least 14 days before the camp.
          -The camp should start at 10am and close by 4 pm.
          -Inauguration and the process of camp are to be covered by the media with photographs.
          – Collects Testimonials for the patients & organizers.
