LBD-2021 – A tribute to Sri NTR on 25th Vardhanti

NTR Memorial Trust’s calendar event – Legendary Blood Donation Drive (LBD) – was inaugurated by Shri K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, NTR Memorial Trust. By promoting the noble cause of Voluntary Blood Donation through LBD, NTR Memorial Trust pays tribute to one of the greatest modern-day Telugu Icons, Sri NTR garu, on his 25th Vardhanti (death anniversary). LBD-2021 has been held in both Andhra Pradesh & Telangana States at various locations in collaboration with Red Cross, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Govt, and other Blood Centers and with support from Volunteers. LBD-2021 was inaugurated by NTR Memorial Trust CEO Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd) at NTR Trust Bhavan, Hyderabad. Thousands of volunteers donated blood to save precious lives in our 3 Blood Centres Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam & Tirupati. A free health check-up camp in collaboration with KSR Eye Care, A.P. Super Speciality Dental Hospital & Manmeeth (Sonu) Diagnostic & Health Care Clinic was organized which was thronged by a large number of people for check-up. Doctors prescribed them various medicines and consultation during the camp. The following objectives were achieved during the camp:Measurement of the pulse, blood sugar monitoring to screen diabetes, Ophthalmology, Dental, ECG, blood pressure, height, weight, and BMI.Our health care camp created waves of bliss, health, and peace.NTR Educational Institutions also paid glowing tributes to late Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu on this occasion at Schools and College premises.
