NTR Junior and Degree College for Women, Gandipet, celebrated the accomplishments of its Senior Inter students with a Farewell event on 29th March 2023 with the theme of “Doei-Doei”

Smt. Aruna M Bahuguna IPS (Retd.), 1st ever women IPS Officer of Andhra Pradesh, was the Chief guest and honorable Shri. V. Udaya Shankar (Director, All India Radio of Hyderabad) presided over this momentous occasion in presence of Shri. K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd.) NTR Memorial Trust’s Chief Executive Officer.

A few of the other prestigious members included, Shri A. Gopi, Chief Operating Officer, NTR Memorial Trust; Dr. M. V. Rama Rao, Academic Dean at NTR Educational Institutions; Shri S. J. Reddy, Principal, along with staff and students.

At the event, Aruna Bahuguna highlighted the progress that has been made for women, especially in her own experience as a police officer. She addressed questions and shared her insight with the students. Ultimately, she urged them to not miss this chance and take it as an opportunity to prove their talent and set off on their life journey. Shri K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd.) Chief Executive Officer of the NTR Memorial Trust expressed on the trust’s service activities and its verticals as well as he offered his best wishes to students, encouraging them to embark on their own life journeys.

During this event, Smt. Aruna Bahuguna Felicitated Pranavika Jain, the NCC cadet who was selected to join the Republic Day parade in New Delhi. She commended Pranavika’s achievements, citing it as an exemplary example of success.

Finally, the night was filled with amazing memories as students shared stories from their time on campus, followed by engaging in cultural activities to recognize programs staff members. It was a fantastic celebration of life that everyone enjoyed.
