NTR Junior & Degree College for Women organized a Seminar on Career prospects for Social Sciences in a Globalized world to create awareness about multiple career choices among the students with Social Sciences, Commerce and Business Management domains. Guests were Dr. Srikanth Dash who is an eminent intellectual from USA, M.A from the University of Hyderabad and A.M., Ph.D from University of Rochester.
He worked abroad with various Banks and Financial institutions as a mentor. He also built a very good career in providing global analytic solutions with GE (General Electric Company) and Dr. Davuluri Venkateswarlu, Chairman, Glocal research foundation. The meeting was presided over by the Academic Dean of organization Dr. M. V Rama Rao. Dr. Srikanth Dash, Speaker of the event has elucidated the methods of acquiring knowledge, information, necessary skills required for career building with good amount of preparation. He also has explained the students the methods of attaining success like continuous comprehensive self-evaluation by reading and analyzing the content. The orator also clarified the student’s doubts about further education and career prospects. CEO of NTR Memorial Trust, Shri K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd) emphasized the need of proper planning and implementation in terms of career building at the right time. The Academic dean Dr. M. V Rama Rao has extended the ultimate organizational support to the students who would prefer building career with useful internships during the course. The entire programme was very thought provoking and brain storming. The young minds were quite enthusiastic while interacting with the guest speaker. The CEO Shri K. Rajendra Kumar along with NTR Educational Institutions, Academic Dean Dr. M.V Rama Rao felicitated the chief guest with immense pleasure. Principal Sh. S. J Reddy, Vice-Principal Mrs. M.
