Celebrations of Fresher’s day, “UDBHAVA YAMINI” on 30th of November at NTR Junior and Degree College for Women, Gandipet, Hyderabad.

NTR Junior and Degree College for Women, Gandipet, Hyderabad celebrated its Fresher’s day, “UDBHAVA YAMINI” on 30th of November, 2021. On this occasion, Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari Garu, Managing Trustee, NTR Memorial Trust, has graced the campus as the Chief Guest. The Dais was also graced by K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd), CEO NTR Memorial Trust; Dr. M.V Rama Rao, Dean, NTR Educational Institutions; Shri. N.S Prasad Garu, Director, NTR Educational Institutions; Shri. K. Srinivas Rao, Principal, NTR Junior and Degree College for Women; Sh. S. Joji Reddy, Principal, NTR Model School. The program theme of the fresher’s party was “UDBHAVA YAMINI”, the purpose of the event was that every “fresher” student of NTR Junior and Degree College for Women, should feel like an integral part of the NTR Institutions family. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the students. The fresher’s party began with traditional lightening of the lamp and prayers dedicated to Late Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu by Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari garu and other dignitaries. In her speech, Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari Garu spoke about the need for women empowerment, how women must stand up for their own rights, must adapt to the fast pacing world, but above all the outcome of societies not respecting women. Prizes were distributed by Nara Bhuvaneshwari garu to the students who stood first/second in various competitions held.The program lasted late into the night with exceptional dance performances ranged across the genres like classical, folk, and pop. It was a night full of celebration, fun and frolic that brought all the freshers together with the Faculty and the Senior Students of the College.
